2008 Indomitable

"Strength does not come from physical capacity.
It comes from an indomitable will."
-Mahatma Gandhi-

A selection of the finest barrels of the vintage, this year’s Indomitable is very similar to a classic First Growth in structure. It showcases gorgeous black currant, cedar, blueberry pie and Asian spice flavors. Aged in the bottle for more than a year after two years in 100% new French oak, the firm tannins make for remarkable structure and a smooth ripe finish. The opulent fruit mixes with crème de cassis, coffee and mocha, finishing textured, rich, full-bodied and silky. Drinkable now or over the next decade.

Bright medium ruby.  Scented, pure aromas of blueberry, minerals and dark chocolate.  Rich and silky on the palate, with harmonious acidity framing the intense dark berry, mineral and floral flavors.  Finishes very long and chocolatey, with smooth tannins and excellent lift.  Nicely balanced, very sexy cabernet, for drinking or cellaring.
